It is time to talk about Haiti's Land, Cycle, and its Future of Haiti and how is being transformed in the agricultural sector. Haiti is a land of history and natural beauty. Its powers lie in the law of regeneration—the law that governs the land, the forests, the rivers, the oceans. Regeneration governs the laws of nature because it embodies and empowers all living beings. In truth, regeneration is not a human invention, but a cycle that is always happening that we must allow to live within a natural and more biological environment.

But for too long, humans have tried to interrupt this cycle. Instead of nurturing the soil, they deplete it; and instead of planting with the future in mind, they extract without replenishment, and instead of trusting nature’s design, they impose systems that strip the land of its ability to heal, to nurture , and to sustain. But nature does not forget, nor ignore the man-made world and the many damages and disasters that it provokes. The land remembers abundance, even after years of depletion, the soil remembers fertility after being stripped bare, and the trees remember their roots after being cut down. Regeneration is not something we create, but it is something that God bestows upon all living beings that we allow. So, transforming degraded land into thriving ecosystems can only empower local communities and support the agroforestry and agribusiness for a more sustainable living. When focusing on regenerative agriculture, reforestation, and sustainability, it can ensure a greener future for Haiti and increase the quality of life and health for all.
